A generative men’s processing group provides a safe container for exploring emotions, relationship issues, mental health and addiction concerns, grief and loss, and disconnection, and promotes growth, support, emotional expression, learning from and with other men, connection and community. Our culture has struggled to raise healthy, dynamic men who are allowed to feel, process and express emotions. What this means is that as children, boys are not taught how to feel, process and express all of their invaluable feelings. Men are often shamed for having emotions, which contributes to a lack of wholeness that impairs and degrades relationships that men have with themselves and others. Our group is relational, and adaptive to meet member’s changing needs over time.
